PHOENIX RISING YOGA
Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy is an experiential and introspective approach to yoga, one that allows a person to more deeply know his/her true Self. It serves people who want to use their yoga practice as a life enhancing tool – people who want to not only derive the physical benefits of yoga but who also want to use their yoga as a powerful therapeutic tool to increase their self-awareness and through their yoga practice empower themselves to live more full and creative lives. It allows to each participant to create his/her own experience based on his/her own needs/readiness. Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy helps people connect more readily with their true selves, combining physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of one’s being – and from this connection often comes helpful insights, deep relaxation, potential solutions to conflicts, and, in some cases, deep transformation. There are nine “Themes” that are included in the Phoenix Rising Approach which are explored each class: “”Befriending the Body” (connecting with self via sensation experience, making a profound pilgrimage within our own body and coming to more deeply know our body as a teacher), “Awareness””( facilitates self-awareness through a process of witnessing, watching and noticing), “Acceptance” (accepting all experiences as valid),”Choice” (activating changes from a place of choice),“Truth” (discover your truth and support yourself in acting from your truth in your life) etc.
